His Excellency Omar Sultan Al Olama, the Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications, and Chairman of Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, has underscored the chamber's ongoing dedication to attracting top-notch digital companies and global tech talent to Dubai. These international endeavors facilitated business meetings with 554 companies, spanning multinationals, SMEs, startups, and scaleups, showcasing the immense growth potential and benefits of doing business in Dubai.

 

Q3 2023: Initiatives, Programs, and Collaborations

In Q3 2023, the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy launched impactful programs and initiatives, including the Emirati Training Academy under the 'Create Apps in Dubai' initiative. This initiative aims to train over 1,000 Emiratis in mobile application development, aligning with the government's goal to triple the number of app developers in the emirate by 2025.

 

Workshops, Reports, and Collaborative Engagements

The chamber organized targeted workshops, including a special session with the participation of over 20 government entities, addressing challenges in the digital industries. Additionally, two comprehensive reports on the startup ecosystem and Dubai's venture capital landscape were published.

 

Palestinian Delegation and Business Matching Meeting

A historic meeting took place with the arrival of 21 Palestinian startups, marking the first-ever business matching meeting between the two markets, resulting in 237 B2B meetings.
